Tried out SuSE 9.1 and Fedora 2 on a dual processor Dell Precision 420.
This has a 32MB RIVA TNT2 graphics card. Installed latest NVidia driver on both OS's (1.0-5336). NVidia splash screen appeared ok, and everything seems to be working until I try to run any OpenGL application. When I start, e.g. tuxracer, the machine completely freezes. I have to hit the reset button. This was all working in SuSE 9.0. Anyone seen this? I know the card is getting a bit old now, but I'm stuck with the machine for another year. Thanks, Michael |

Try changing the nvagp mode in sax2, the option is in the graphics card advanced options. just click nvagp and try value from 0 to3, what the values are is in the nvidia readme.
