Kasu, you know, I dont really like that. Its to wide..it looks like im losing stuff at the bottem and tops of the screen. I think if I went wider then one screen, it would need to be 6 screens so I can enlarge vertically as well as horizontal.

not sure how it could have worked for you, since even the latest driver 195.62 doesn't have any Dirt2 SLI profile.

you can of course make your own profile and play with setting, I would start with trying settings from Dirt, Operation Flashpoint2 and Grid, since all these games use same engine.

If you have the rig for it the big difference is when this game is running at 60fps. My god it is so much more engrossing. I have the 360 and pc version and got to lvl 40 on the xbox while I am lvl 20 on the pc and finding the latter far more fun. Using the 360 steering wheel for both versions and find that the pc version feels much better. Gas is a little sensitive but I have gotten used to it. For any newbs I have found that the key to cornering in this game is being very nimble with acceleration. Even though it is a bit arcade like it is not a cake walk. Too much gas pedal and you will be spinning out on most turns. Most arcade racers let you hammer the gas but not this one. The feeling of speed and momentum in the pc version is far better due to the higher framerate not to mention 1080p resolution. If you are having performance issues turn down car reflections to high. Ultra eats about 5 fps for some reason and looking at the cars while changing setting the difference will never be seen in race or replay. It is the only setting I had to drop to keep it at 60 fps 95% of the time.

I think it is more sim like than dirt1. I am playing on serious diff and find it pretty easy.

Any way to make this game feel more sim'ish? Even in driver view one can tell the car is on a center pivot.

I feel the same. The only rally games that I have played and still play today that are any good are RBR on PC and WRC Evolved on PS2.

Anyway you look at it Codies has another winner on thier hands.I've only just installed mine and we are already liking the in car cam sound.Kinda like drpping change in a hallway. The controls for a g25 are set spot on,no-one here bitched. It's hard to shift and drive in most races though, sequential is hard as well.Good framerate just like the demo.......I'm sure when sli is available nekro will let us know.I havn't had any luck enabling it yet on xp32.Games like this are to be praised....grr damn IW.

I'm loving this game, can't stop playing. DX11 effects are subtle but they are there, when the car you are chasing crosses water the ripples are incredible, the effect is superb. The flags and extra crowd are very cool to look at, but the water effect is the one I like the most.

Performance is great, runs maxed at 1920x1200 with 4xAA, and the game is very fun. Not for simulation purists but one of the best driving arcades available, I like it more than Shift.

I don't have a wheel but with the 360 controller it works perfectly

I'm at level 24 right now, and it was fun as hell starting out, but now I am seeing the same tracks over and over again, and its getting more repetitive and becoming more of a grind.

The graphics are great, except for a few issues with shadow flickering on some of the trees in the Malaysian tracks. Also, I have a problem with Vsync as well. With Vsync on, I get controller lag and random framerate drops. With Vsync off, I get loads of screen tearing, even at Max settings with 4xAA and 16xAF. Bumping it up to 8xAA makes the minimum framerate go below 30 fps, which is unacceptable for a racing game.

Yup, the racing variety just isn't enough. I think they could use more tracks and they should of mixed it up more. Like make you race buggies on the rally course or do a rally car race on buggy circuit. Motorcycles would of been a nice diversion also.
