Can't wait for it. Should have their damage model and stuff if it is a real demo of the "final" GT5.

I am more interested in a US release date for the game. I think the Spring 2010 is only for the Jap release, right? I did manage to preorder it from Amazon for $56 - 10% ECA-$10 Discover promo, on Thanksgiving....

The only difference in physics that I can really spot is the weight. The car feels heavy like a real car. But I was expecting more....rollover, damage, better tire engine sounds.

It was ok but to be honest I was kind of let down. The track and car sucked and it didn't look that amazing or mind blowing better than Forza 3 or even Shift. I kind of expected it to blow both away but its probably has more to do with that bland track. And thhe demo was like 200MB so I have to wonder if maybe they toned down the graphics quality a bit.

Also I have to say it feels so odd to not see your car get damaged when nearly every other racer now have damage. Hopefully this changes in the final game. They could have provided a better demo but still a day one purchase for me.

This wasn't a true demo... it was only 200MB.

Yeah... was a small demo. I had to check around to make sure this was the demo when I saw how big it was on the Euro store (to download it earlier than in the US store). Definitely a little disappointed. It is GT and I love GT, but I was just expecting to see their damage model.

I got a 1.41.5xx with Tuned car

I'm just not used to no ABS and this game is very very unforgiving. Forza is too easy GT5 is too hard.

But when you get it right it feels great...it's very rewarding...it takes a great deal of finess to push the car to the limit. You're driving on a razor's edge of a total spinout crash into the wall.

Was it just me, or did this game look like GT4 on a PS2?
