Why are the graphics so different on the two consoles?

The 360 foliage is much nicer than the PS3's and the edges seem better on the 360. The PS3 just looks fuzzy. The difference seems quite big.

The X360 version is superior. This is the same thing that happened with GTA4. Rockstars engine is not optimized for the strengths of the PS3.

Im borrowing my friends X360 version right now while I wait for my PS3 version to arrive, then i guess I can do a true comparison.

Yea let us know if it's really noticeable. Screenshots look like it is, but game action can make it less noticeable.

Looks like the 360 version is devoid of post processing in those pics.

This.

Everyone turned into major pixel peepers when the crysis screenshots started pouring out and everyone and their dog was writing custom config files. At the end of the day, even the most basic tweaks were enough to yield visuals acceptable to 99% of the gaming populace when actually playing the game.

Wooow didnt realized its on 360 too! I thought its ps3 exclusive:P So I didnt waited for this or got hyped in any way.

HOW IS IT?! What is it?!

It looks like GUN in the reviews. I mean. It doesnt really look hyping to me. Although graphics seems fine. Rage engine seems to be doing great outdoors. I have watched a couple of video reviews and waiting for some opinions.

Yeah when I first saw the comparison pics I was really disappointed. I was thinking about just selling or trading the PS3 version but everyone who has it says its very unnoticable the differences when in motion and videos of the PS3 version seem to show that. Only area where I can see a difference in the videos is the lower density foilage but thats a really minor thing.

EDIT: I would really like to see a patch released that allows a larger install that could help the PS3 with streaming and maybe a better LOD. The game only has a 600MB install.

It's a very good game HiCZoK. Lives up to the hype. If you like Wild West setting it's the perfect game.
