I have it on since the early day of Vista, and never ran into a issue that was caused by having UAC off.

I also keep bi-weekly back ups of C drive of all my machines, just in case.

UAC is just annoying. Why deal with it?

I still have a ton of clients that aren't Win7 ready due to their stupid proprietary software. Even with WinXP comp. mode it doesn't work right. Not Win7s fault. I hate bank software btw.

I ran across a guy last week who was still "rocking" Win98. Simply refused to upgrade.

Also - upgrade your netbook to W7. Mine runs beautifully on it.

Unfortunatly, the network I am on at work is XP because trading software only supports xp, whatever they say. Bull****, and I hate it. I would love to rock W7 on my work machine.

Heh, he must not use the internet. I can't get IE to keep from crashing loading msn.com (default home page)

Why does msn crash on older browsers like that?

Maybe it could be a fault of MS to force people to spend money cuz we have a 98 rig just for the old stuff like NFS 3 and Titanic game and even old doom games but MSN is the only thing that eritates that thing.

Agreed, MSN eritates me when I play Titanic. I'm just about to get to make sweet sweet love to baby face leonardo de caprio in some car and msn crashes and tells me to upgrade my OS

MS should pay for my therapy sessions, I'm soooo sexually frustrated right now!

Joking aside, that Titanic game was awesome back in 1995.

I have played the Titanic game on Windows 7. Also, the Goosebumps game.

Both fantastic. And, I finally beat them after all those years.

It's comfort and no need to really upgrade. I used XP till about 6 months ago when I went to 7, skipped over Vista entirly. And I didn't start using XP till 2004 because Windows 98 still worked fine for my purpose's it wasn't untill I bought that first 160gb hard drive that I decided 98 wouldnt cut it anymore.

Was running XP until today and I switched because I needed 64 bit (4GB ram + 1.2 gig VRAM).
