Default Question on NVIDA-Linux-x86_64-173.14.12-pkg2 driver for the Quadro FX 1700 card

We are currently using NVIDA-Linux-x86_64-173.14.12-pkg2 driver for our display servers which have Quadro FX 1500 card in it. Due to tech refresh, some of the display servers will have video card FX 1700. Is the above driver able to support both the FX 1500 and the FX 1700 cards?

We have dual monitors on our system. When the above driver is running on the system with the FX 1700 card, only one of the monitors displays the bootup messages when the server is booting up. The other monitor is just idling. On the system that has the FX 1500 card, both monitors display the same bootup messages on boot. Once the system has booted up (nvidia logo is displayed), the monitors on the each system display the same. So far, this is the only different behavior observed. Has anyone experienced problem of using the above driver with the Quadro FX 1700 card in a linux OS environment?
