Nice job on your new build. I am buying the same P6X58D/NH-14D combo either with a i7-920 (D0) or a W3520. I'm only planning to use the 14cm fan on the Noctua since I only plan to overclocking to 3.6 - 4Ghz, I'll stop once I have to start raising voltage over 1.25v or so.

Without the 12cm fan, does the forward heatsink tower of the NH-D14 block any of the RAM slots ? The P6X58D has a little more space between the CPU socket and RAM than most other X58 boards so I thought it may just clear it. I cannot tell from the angled picture of your completed system. I was going to order Corsair Dominator or Kingston HyperX with the tall heatsinks, but if the cooler blocks the first bank of RAM slots I probably will go with Mushkin or Crucial instead. I don't plan on going beyond 6GB of RAM, so tall heatsinks will probably still be okay if only the black slot is blocked.

Thanks and enjoy your new baby!

It partially blocks the first ram slot, but the ram sticks I have are short.

I might (reluctantly) be in the market for one of these beasts soon. Just wanted an update on how these boards are doing for you guys. Any problems to speak of? BIOS OK? Does NB need active cooling? etc..

Wanna make damn sure this is worth the money before I make the purchase

Oh, is anyone running an Asus Xonar HDAV1.3 with theirs? I'm having a hell of a job finding an X58 mobo that has room for this stupidly big card as well as 3 GFX cards. The P6X58D looks OK but I'd like to make sure.
