Didn't know about that board and it looks nice, but no slot for my sound card means it's a nono for me. Sounds like the UK will be getting a shipment of P6X58D's in next week (everywhere's sold out ATM) so I've got a few more days to see if I can get my S2F working, but it's not looking good . I really wasn't planning on upgrading yet after just getting a quad and some new RAM, but hardware's a bitch

What sound card do you have? IMO this board has a perfect PCI/PCIe layout.
Asus Xonar HDAV1.3 DeLuxe with PCI-Ex 1x slot. The thing's over 7" long and most NB coolers get in the way or the slots are blocked by dual slot graphics cards, which I have 3 of.

Are you saying one can use a PCI-Ex 1x card in a 16x slot? I thought they were just for graphics cards.

The GT has a stupid cooler on it. I wanted the stock single slot one but they just weren't available at the time. No idea why

EDIT: Just Googled it and apparently I can. Wow! I didn't know that, lol. Well that's opened up a crap load of options on mobo choice!
