Just extract the "coalesced.ini" file at location "...\Mass Effect 2\BioGame\Config\PC\Cooked" and replace original in game folder (dont forget to make a backup of original!).
EDIT: Second package with original DOF values, medium and high (my previous uplaod was only high DOF). Here is Megaupload mirror. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=SRN4ZVLD Mediafire mirror. http://www.mediafire.com/?qtdvs5ktocn6ynm The changes I made are eanbling trilinear + AF, much less aggressive LOD for characters and effects, 2048x2048 shadows with improved soft edge filtering, capped to 40fps, some minor tweaks for better IQ and changed DOF strength, distance and different bloom kernel values to reduce the bloom "aura" and instead give a nice tight bloom as it should be in games IMHO. F10 to hide/show hud. |

Awesome. is there any way to remove the vignetting effect around the screen when playing on a 720p TV? It's bad tunnel vision on my big screen at the lower resolution but on my 24" monitor @ 1920, it's not there... or if it is, it's so thin I don't notice.

You don't seem to be able to grasp the point of what I'm saying so I'll lay it out.
I don't think anyone needs to criticize anyone’s screenshots, nor does anyone have any room to do so. I have never criticized in the past and enjoy everything posted here. It's a screenshot thread and I like to post in my actual gaming resolution, also my desktop resolution. Smaller screenshots show up as postage stamps on my screen. I post jpg for quick loads, I could post 6mb shots but people would bitch again. I've always enjoyed large resolution screenshots and that's what I like to share. You seem to like to share Crysis a bit and others stalker or whatever, that's fine and I'll support it. Everyone should feel free to post anything they want. SPCO (So Please Chill Out). ![]()

![]() I like the game though,it is entertaining and gets my pulse racing, the aliens are well animated,i actually jumped in my chair when i was ambushed by one It's early days in the game yet though,i can only say that some parts was underwhelming but a lot of it is better now after i patched the game. The audio logs you find scattered around are horribly bad though for the most part.Graphicly it's not a great looking game, the dx11 mode is alright i guess but some textures are subpar, haven't noticed much tesselation in the game yet,if at all. Some screens : Dx11 everything but the res on the highest settings (4xAA 16XAF Tesselation/advanced shadows on etc) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() A typical jonelo shot ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() There you go,hope this helps you decide either way ![]()
