I would like to know what mods are being used for CoP. I bought the game recently off Steam, but I don't want to play it until there are some mods out there that could enhance the game's graphics.

If your looking for graphics/weather overhaul, have you tried Atmosfear mod ?

Your luck my friend a long awaited mod (for the most part, by the english stalker community)

was released today The CoP screenies I posted above are with Redux v1.0 installed

It's ridiculously difficult now (which might be a bit of a flaw, you'll notice quickly after your play it for a bit.) There is a lot good though in this mod, I suggest you give it a go. Prepare for a challenge, once your done with that initial curve, it's gets awesome!

I spend a bit of my time on multiple stalker message boards, so far it's been stale news wise for CoP Complete. Redux is a good reason to start playing CoP for sure, I should know I put the game in the back burner while I waited for some good mods. The weapon accuracy/handling vanilla CoP is kind of not fun and painful at times.

(Same can be said of all 3 STALKER games so far imo) they are great games no doubt, but the extra tweaking that the game needed prior to release the community takes care of. I understand completely why you have held out in playing CoP for this long, hopefully Redux can provide this for you. The Complete series has given the series so far the "face lift" they much needed, while still "feeling" like the vanilla game. I am expecting the same for the CoP version.

Hopefully we get some news soon on the release date of it.

Thanks! Yea, I am one of those that have been waiting for the CoP complete mod. I can't wait for that. Loved the Complete mod for Stalker and Clear Sky
