Default Fermi vs 5xxx IQ thread

Just in case anything Fermi is released soon - I remember seeing an in depth IQ comparison between the GTX200 series and the 4xxx series. It was all about texture rendering, all the AA modes, AF etc - anything and everything relating to image quality with raw FPS performance secondary.

Anyone think comparisons like this would be outmoded these days due to both companies advances? Or with the sheer amount of GPU power available, will anyone be basing their decision on what to buy strictly on IQ and not FPS?

That's what I'd like to hear about. We have enough horse power - I want the absolute best image quality for my next GPU upgrade.

You gents think it's worth discussing once we have Fermis to compare to?

Well I dont think we should bother with AF. Its pretty much perfect from both companys.
