Got this last night... it is taking FOREVER to install for some reason.

Also, Physx patch is out in case no one noticed.

So this game is pretty awesome... shame it got bashed in every review and no one is going to buy it. The early levels are all on foot it seems but its just as polished as Gears of War and looks pretty nice, though very UE3-y, which is a problem with that engine only a few games have overcome, Mirror's Edge being the most notable.

You playing with M/KB or controller? I just can't believe how many games are for sale right now - we're a month past the holiday season and I have so little money and so many freaking games I want!

The Steam forums mirror your statement regarding the early level(s) being slow and then it picking up the pace. How's the performance? Any AA?

No in-game AA but it is UE3 and easily forced. Performance is great on my rig, locked 60fps (though I have Physx off).

For those interested you can modify the FOV and turn off depth of field in the game's ini file.

How's the widescreen? I read it's locked at 16:9? Also, have you tried with PhysX (just wondering how big a hit it is... I watched a youtube video comparing on/off and it seems to be nice.)

I just bought Bionic Commando and have to finish it first. The next game on the purchase list is Dark Void but i would really want a Fermi first for maximum PhysX effects with good performance. Loved the demo btw. (using 360 pad)

I don't know if it's anamorphic or not, I have a 16:9 screen, lol. I know the FOV is very tight but the Borderlands hack works on it so you can change it.

As for Physx I never turned it on because the screen where you do so says you will need a second card to get good frames from it and I was already forcing AA, so it seemed like there was no point trying. I guess I can though, for the heck of it.

What are you doing to force AA, renaming to UT3.exe and by chance do you know how to force a full screen 4:3?

Just finished and I'm about to go through a second time with more upgrades on the harder level. Kind of a short game but pretty good reply value. All hidden things are marked on the map after you finish one play through.

I have just started playing but so far so good. The controls are solid with the 360 pad and it looks nice. I think both the gunplay and swinging mechanics works great.

Screen shots look pretty good. I think I shall add this to my list.
