Default 195.*: 3d-apps in wine have garbled screen

hi,

i just tried to run google sketchup (version 7.1.6860) under wine (1.1.36).
with 195.30 the screen is corrupt, but only the 3d-part, the menus are fine. please see screenshot.
to be sure, i installed 190.53 and everything looks good. so this seems to be a driver issue with 195.30.
any other opengl-software runs fine with 195.30.

any idea?

thanks in advance,
daniel

Default 195.*: 3d-apps in wine have garbled screen

i just updated to wine 1.1.37 and tried 195.22 and 195.30. same problem
it seems that this is a general issue with 3d-applications under wine with 195.*
190.53 still works fine. changed topic title.

Google SketchUp just crashes when I try to run it so I can't confirm this, but I suspect that the problem is actually a bug in Wine. Drivers prior to 195.* had certain behavior that didn't conform to the GLX specification. The 195 series drivers fixed that conformance bug, but Wine relies on the broken behavior. To confirm, please try running SketchUp with driver 190.53 by using the following command:
Code:
  __GL_FORCE_INDIRECT=1 wine SketchUp
and see if you see a similar problem to what happens in 195.30.
