Update... well... are you supposed to not be able to attack during the whole opening sequence? When the initial attack occurs and I'm supposed to run, I can't attack or anything and I'm getting to an elevator and there's one of those things in it with me basically just wailing on me and I can't punch. It's assigned to left mouse but that doesn't do anything.

There's one actually in the elevator when you get to it? I've never seen that lol, total show stopper as you can't punch or stomp until you get your first weapon.

Run faster?

Yea there shouldnt be one in the elevator. it should happen so that when you are closing the door, one is trying to get in, but doesn't. There is one waiting in the elevator when you get there? Thats messed up.

I'll try to run in a straighter line haahha I haven't disabled vsync yet in the nvidia control panel so turning from side to side is still sluggish and they're basically right on my tail the whole time so they make it into the elevator by the time I get to the button.

Vsync might be the issue. I have to completely disable it to make the game playable else it's very hard to track what I'm doing in battle. Easy to get "lost" lol.

I do get minimal tearing, but not near bad enough to not enjoy the heck out of it.

The ingame Vsync is limiting Dead Space to 30fps. And makes it unplayable with incredible mouse lag. Just turn "force on" in nvcp.

yeah I remember back when it first came out everyone was infuriated with the lag and that turning off vsync was the culprit.

I turned it off and managed to get past that part.

is there a way to force AA? It looks like there isn't any. i didn't try the nv control panel yet.
