I tried opening a lot of videos with vdpau to test it out. It seems I could only have 3 playing at a time. The 4th one caused a the whole system to freeze. Eventually the mouse stated moving again, but then I just did a hard shutdown because nothing was happening. Couldn't there be a built in stop in the driver to prevent this from happening? This is with driver 195.30

Can you please supply an nvidia-bug report, and complete details re: how to reproduce the problem (which applications are you running, what is their exact command-line, what video files are you playing, what desktop environment are you using, are you running with a compositing manager enabled, etc.) Thanks.
