Default Quick Chrome question

When you press the little "+" sign to the right of the top tab (to start a new tab) is there anyway to get Google to jump to my home page and not to a history list of previous tabs?

Thanks,

Vanz

I personally use speed-dial myself (not the Chrome default, but the extension). It works very nicely as I can put pretty much as many sites on there as I want ( I am currently only using 12, but can still access bookmarks )

I think the best thing to do is basically Alt + Home button, instead of doing any hacks.

Alt + Home button, is the same as pressing "+" is opens a new tab with a list of previous sites visited, all I want is for the new tab to open to my home page - I don't want to see a history of past sites I've visited...
