Default Dragon Age 2 - to look 'hot'

Quote:
Dragon Age: Origins presents strong evidence that great games can overcome gawd-awful graphics, but BioWare isn't about to test that theory -- and the limits of our forgiveness -- again in the sequel. "I think one of the key things we're working on in Dragon Age 2 is the technology," BioWare VP Greg Zeschuk recently told Joystiq. "I can confirm that we're doing a lot of work on the Dragon Age engine, and doing a lot of stuff to pump it -- to make it visually super hot."

Dear Bioware

They were pretty good for the most part, but not Witcher-good.

The graphics are by far the weakest part of Dragon Age because the rest is just so damned good.

I'll be buying any sequels they make... no doubt about it.

Well, as long as they don't screw the game up.

I wonder how long it takes them to make a game like Dragon Age anyway. The game world is pretty big but its fairly closed in and controlled so its nothing like an Elder Scrolls game world (which apparently takes freaking forever to construct). There's just so much content though... it seems like quite the undertaking. With better graphics its definitely going to take longer.

They weren't bad, but they weren't exactly remarkable either.

IMO, the gameplay itself was beyond redemption, spectacular experience all around

same here

they better keep the story good, that the important part, and they better keep the classic RPG gameplay, and not turn it into another Mass Effect

Agreed.

The gameplay in Dragon Age is exceptional and the game has received some of the highest review scores of any game in recent memory... if they change the game in any way they're retarded.

I don't think they plan to change anything. They have Mass Effect and they have Dragon Age. Unless they switch Mass Effect 3 into a hardcore iso RPG and Dragon Age 2 is a 3rd person hack and slash...

Actually, if they alternated it wouldn't be too bad as long as they did both types of games well and we always had a 150 hour RPG overflowing with stats and loot to look forward to.
