mainly played with the camera in the isometric mode, and from there itīs all dandy, some SSAA on that and it looked like a oldschool prerendered 2d RPG.
but coming down to ground level and in the dialog scenes, itīs nowhere close to as sharp as mass effect.
I was acctually suprised on how lowres some of the textures where when I first started the game in the dwarven area.

Same here. I like to explore in third person mode a lot of times just to get a good look at the surroundings, but when I'm scanning for loot or engaged in combat its isometric mode all the way.

I'd excuse any lack of detail in the textures and scenery if the game looked like it were meant to be played in isometric mode, but my biggest problem with the graphics is that the higher camera angles show things that we should never see in a game. Namely, holes in the geometry, the outside of the world (so that you can see to the other end of the level), and the back side of polygons.

It looks terrible and I really really hope they work on this in the second game. They also need to add something that shows the outline of characters through walls\foliage in isometric mode since you'll get stuck behind high walls some times.
