The big bad boss in 1 was awful and completely not required, they listened for 2.

Edit: Tried my first mp game, lag was absolutely terrible, host quit. God I hope that was an exception not the rule.

Edit #2: Tried another 5 games, the mp is broken. Warping all over the place. Pathetic.

Yeah, the MP is broken at the moment... but a way to "sort of" fix the "lag" is alt tab out of the game and then go back in. When the person told me to do that I thought he was just joking, but tried it anyway... and it worked lol.

it's not demanding at all on my machine. i haven't run the original on my newer computer, but on my old 8800GTS/AMD 4400x2, the first one ran smooth.

Sounds great. I was thinking of saving Bioshock 2 for my upgrade but if its about as demanding as the first game i might just play it right away

it should run just fine on your machine. mind you i dont play with AA, so I dont know what kind of a performance hit you might encounter, but it's a fun, pretty game. the awesomeness of the first one wore off a bit, but if you liked that style, this is carries over.

DX9 with forced AA worked about the same, I get 60fps locked. DX10 with forced AA was a killer, I couldn't stay above 40fps.
