I'm level 10 in multiplayer, it's not as bad as I first thought but I don't think I'll be playing it for much longer. Straight up the grenade launcher is so easy to get kills I use it 90% of the time now. The big daddy and little sister work fairly well in the game modes. They actually try to introduce a bit of character to the game, fairly minimal but helps when the football guy makes play calls when carrying the little sister.

The netcode isn't that great, peer 2 peer like MW2 but nowhere near as smooth. Customisation like MW2 with trials replacing challenges with weapon, plasmids and other unlocks. Lots of players warp around, making them hard to hit or even see. It's often hard to distinguish it between the air dash. I have no idea how many people are playing which game modes so sometimes I'll be waiting minutes for nothing. Capture the sister seems fairly popular.

The mp has grown on me a little bit, seeing some old maps (fontaine fisheries) edited and redone is a nice touch but overall it just seems average.

Here's a video of the graphical glitches I've been getting with SLI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q3tgWbi0TIg looks like I'm not the only one. I solved it by just removing the SLI profile from dx10. Performance is good enough that I don't need SLI so I'll settle for that.

Judging by the contents of this thread and the contained opinions, this game sounds aaight. Heck, I'm probably not even half way through the first one. Maybe I'll continue to take my time with it so I might be able to get the sequel in time for its first patch.

I'm getting the same SLI glitches, but not all the time. That profile that was posted sorted most of it out. It was unplayable before that. You tried using v-sync?

Yup, those are the exact glitches I get with SLI enabled. I also have it on single card mode on 2x2 SSAA. The engine really isn't demanding enough to notice any slowdown in this mode, although I'm playing in 2D right now. When they finally release a 3D patch for the game, I'm sure I'll need the SLI again, in which case I am hoping NVIDIA releases an updated driver/SLI profile to go with it.

i dont know if its a bug or what went wrong. officially natural camo does not work at all for me. doesn't matter if it's the only tonic i have selected.

Just finished it. The ending is amazing. Great game and well worth the price. Took me almost 20 hours, but I am a slowpoke. If you liked the first one, I think you'll like this one. Great story and characters.
Question:

can anyone explain why Rapture through the eyes of the Little Sister seemed so grand? I didn't understand that. Was that the ADAM acting on them?

I think they are sort of programmed/hypnotized to see it that way so the horrible surroundings and morbid nature of what they do doesn't scare them.

no wonder you guys finished it so quickly, the game is damn short. even shorter than the first one I think, which was pretty short already. still the last level was very cool and definitely the high point of the game.
