So much hate am I the only one who likes it??

I'm at the point now where there's brute splicers and spider splicers and it's getting very hard. The brutes are almost as tough as big daddies. The research feature is not quite so easy either. The spear gun rocks btw...

Im liking it alot.

The research feature is not easy because for some stupid reason they make you equip it like a weapon and then switch to a weapon once the fight starts... the key setup itself is just bad.

I'm not able to run at 1600x1200 full screen for some reason. I can only do 1280, or 1600 in a window, but it looks pretty good to me, and runs good with SSAA.

My biggest gripe is the whole acting like a big daddy. When you have a little sister you don't see her, you just hear her oh so cute comments. I wish you had her follow you and had to defend her like the other big daddies.

Also you don't make any of the sounds of the big daddies, so wanted to pound on the holes in the wall to get a little sister, not just steal them from the other big daddies.

Just like BioShock 1 the game just doesn't feel smooth to me, little hiccups and frame drops and the mouse is not really fluid. Don't know what it is, it ain't UE3 because other UE3 games run great and feel smooth. Not sure what the deal is.

The game itself is good, more of an expansion than a sequel but hey what else is new. Running it on DX10 with 4xMSAA forced through nHancer gets me 40fps, turning off distortions gets me 60fps locked, but then out of nowhere these crazy hiccups and frame drops ruin it. Same thing happens with AA off too, it's just not a well built PC game just like the original.

Looks nice though.

It's not the game, I have no frame drops or stutters. Check your machine.

Amazingly only Bioshock and Bioshock 2 feel like this, my machine must be racist against those games in particular.

Seriously though, I have been reading comments about how Bioshock does not feel smooth on PC for 2 years and my machine is fine, you probably aren't noticing what I am talking about. The physics framecap has been mentioned, perhaps that is one issue.

I have had some stutters in the original but so far performance has been great in Bioshock 2.
