Anyone find the gameplay really repetitive? I swear each lvl is the same, just different situations of the last one.

One thing i loved about the last one, and also one thing that Dead Space did well, was they had a unique color scheme for each level, so even though it's still corridors, it felt different. First 3 or 4 levels in this game pretty much all look the same, but it doesn't bother me.

I settled on playing this in DX9 so I could have AA and high framerates.
DX10 has been nothing but EPIC FAIL.

I'm getting games crashes in DX10 with any kind of fsaa on. The crashes are when hacking. If I turn FSAA off in DX10 or leave it on in DX9, I don't get any game crashes at all.

AA in DX10 causes all kinds of problems for people, either crashes or plummeting framerates at random moments, or artifacts.

DX9 looks almost identical, it's only the water effects and some shadows that are greater.

Savor the game while it lasts. It's a short one Even shorter than the first.

Yea i am going through it very slow. One thing that gets very annoying for me is when you walk under a waterfall, that sound effect that plays is ghay as f*ck.

"Even shorter than the first" tells me we have different ideas of short, since I remember the original being quite long for an FPS.

One of the things that annoy me quite a bit is when the developers overuse dramatic music. The one level (4 or 5) where they play it pretty much for 1/4 of the whole level, that i really didnt like. i actually put the headphones down. make it swell up when a big fight is coming or something, but don't just keep it onna loop for extended periods of time.
the side characters seem more interesting in this game, and your tasks, though repetitive, are entertaining.

i dunno if it's a bug, but sometimes i actually hit the right one, and it doesn't register. it freezes for a millisecond to show you where you landed, and mine, sometimes even if they are good, i get shocked.
