Default GT5 gets a graphics bump

http://www.playstationuniversity.com...textures-2483/

Newest build shows how the graphics improved in the recent build, look at the Fuji track from Prologue.

Haven't they been talking about this since before the PS3 launched? Duke Nukem Forever comes to mind...

I don't consider the Time Trial a demo, it was only a few hundred megabytes. It doesn't represent the game at all.

Awesome improvement. The main difference being the dirt/grass. The road being not so over shiny ala GT3/4 is nice too, as well as the tyre marks. The mountains look insanely good, but being a photo of the screen I know how that can cause a nice dramatic blue lighting effect that tends to make graphics look more realistic than they are. A huge improvement though, I'm excited again

Those are important points for a racing game. The only area where GT shines are the car models. AI racing is boring and I don't want to race against the PS3 kids online.

^It still does not represent the game, as it was only for the competition. I don't understand how
