This is a newbie question...
I made a restore point right after a fresh install on XP home - and BEFORE i activated via the web. My question is, if I restore to the fresh install point, I WILL have to activate XP agian correct? Also, how well does it revert back the reg and .dll settings? So I want to know weather I will be better off just doing a fresh install, if I have to do the activation agian anyway. Thanks! |

yes, you will have to re-register
and it does do a good job of going back, but it doesn't erase your newly installed programs, so it just leaves a lot of dead weight around...
