Image to LCD Frozen, then Releases

I have a GEForce 8200 in a Shuttle SN78SH7 running a Sanyo LCD projector via the HDMI output on the shuttle. Linux is Fedora Core 11, NVidia driver is 190.53-1.fc11.4

mplayer is used to send a 20 minute series of 15 to 30 second video files to the LCD projector, which is set up as X window display 1. Most of the time this works fine - X windows is set up OK, display 0 and 1 work fine, etc. The LCD projector is powered off between the 20 minute shows.

Occasionally, upon starting the projector, and sending files to mplayer, the HDMI output to the LCD will be frozen on the last image projected before turning the projector off. There are no error logs in X windows, and no mplayer errors. After a variable amount of time - from 5 to 18 minutes, the HDMI output will begin showing the mplayer output.

Any ideas on this would be appreciated!

krose, can you please post an "nvidia bug report" (see sticky posts). Also, can you supply the exact MPlayer command-line you're using. Thanks.
