Default Trying to remember a Survival Horror FPS

I remember watching a video a while back that contained the game taking place in a snow covered level with a trailer or maybe a shack that the player runs into. When inside some type of monster starts attacking... The player grabs a double barrel shotgun to defend himself I think.

It's all ingame I believe with it all taking place in the first person. I don't remember if it was a preview professionally or some gameplay video released on the net.

Any ideas?

at first I though of Penubmra, then Call of Cthulhu early videos, then Cryostasis.
There is also no snow in Alan Wake and its not fps...

Hmm...

Just a few random first person horror games off the top of my head...

Call of Cthulhu, Vampire Bloodlines, Undying...

How long ago did you see the video? Did the game look good or were the graphics dated\cartoony?

EDIT: Could it possibly be a mod?

I don't think it was Cryostasis because if I'm remembering correctly it played quicker. It had decent graphics so it wasn't CoC...

It was recent, in the last few years. It might have not been a complete game, maybe more of a tech demo.

I give up... its so obscure that it could have been one of those games shown off and then disappears.

If it isn't "The Thing" then I was going to say "Cursed Mountain" but there are no 'normal' weapons in that game.
