Copy & Pasted from the issue. I start to watch a BD movie on CyberLink PowerDVD 8 (I hate the software but it came with the BD player) and about 30 seconds in it BSODs. Has done it twice now. GPU driver issue maybe?

did you try to analyze the minidump file? it usually will list the dll that might be responsible.

I had the same issue and have the same chipset and video card, I found a forum where almost everyone who had this issue was using a nvidia card.
The software is junk I downloaded a trial version of Power dvd 10 and the problem went away. No one on the forum had a solution the last time I was out there.

If you have PowerDVD installed, you should be able to play BDs in WMP or WMC... right?

Well after reading this thread I decided to give it another try, Power DVD 8 and blu-rays and I was able to get version 8 to work. I disabled hardware acceleration and checked automatically adjust all true theater effects. Go into the control panel for Power DVD and go to the video tab to make these changes. I am running the Nvidia driver 260.63.
