It automatically selects the highest DX level you have. It's in a configurations file in your documents. You can manually set it to 11 but it should automatically detect it. There is likely not a big visual difference. Just some performance and shadow improvements.

I don't understand why people make games run so bad for benchmarks.
The results are pretty meaningless if the best card in the test is barely managing 30fps minimum. If the game is running like ass on all cards TURN DOWN THE FREAKING ANTIALIASING. ![]() I'd rather see benchies at 1920x1200 with no AA and 4xAA. The game uses so many sprites and shader effects that 90% of the scenery is still aliased all to hell, so the huge performance hit isn't worth it at all. I love to see massive charts like that that show a ton of information, but when someone puts that much time into something to show that 50 GPUs cannot run the game smoothly at a given setting, it seems like a waste of time.

I need to try the BETA out with DX9 or just turn off AA/AF. But heck, AA/AF is almost completely off anyways.

In BC2 if I turn off EVERYTHING but the game, I get pretty smooth game play except in heavy firefights |

You have to change it from the settings.ini file under "My Documents".

Basically I can easily infer that you're trying to say that you've already pirated it. I give you a pre-emptive thumbs-down. If I'm wrong, sorry, but it looks like a spade, so I'll call it a spade.
