Was there a patch recently. I've been randomly been CTD's while in the middle of a game.

Just updated PB, hopefully that helps.

How reliable is the EA store for digital downloads? I would really prefer to have this via Steam, but saving $30 is better than waiting for a Steam sale.

Physical copy is just $10 more $20 off coupon still works but the instant $10 savings is just for the digital copy. EA store is very fast but their policies are not the greatest. According to their policy you can't redownload them forever but only after 2 years or so. But I have heard of many people who have owned digital copy games for over 2 years and they can still download them so apparently they haven't been enforcing this... yet. You CAN back up the files on a dvd/harddrive.

My fav is assault, I have all the guns for that class. Working on the other classes right now, Recon/Medic, then last = eng. That's the order I'm doing them in, but I will say, this game is awesome, looks good. Updated my drivers, and playing in DX10, seems more standard now, as in, the game doesn't go crazy after awhile of playing. We'll see though, the game screams that it needs a patch badly though.

I pre-ordered mine from EA Store with coupon code and paid $44. I backed up the image and burned it.

Escape usually brings up the scoreboard when you're killed. No, its not the most obvious thing in the world...

The not being able to chat was a design decision. In BF2 and 2142, people would talk, relaying the enemy position. As one of the designers said, dead men don't talk. It's always a decision I appreciate - it makes hunting snipers much easier!

That sounds really retarded. Dead men also don't respawn after their blackhawk helicopter is shot down. The chatting would make the game more fun, you can make it so that you can chat only with dead people on your team, or only with dead people on your squad.
