It could be punkbuster. The beta never had punkbuster enabled right?

I've noticed more bugs and problems after 20 minutes with the full version than I had throughout the entire beta. And I haven't even gotten into a game yet.
grab the PB updater and update the PB files for the game.

Stupid thing wasn't even CLOSE to being up to date.

Thanks for the link mailman.

That will probably fix it but I have to go to work now.

I did play the first 5 minutes of the single player though. Looks pretty good. The graphics aren't anything amazing, but it runs good.

I'm getting crashes in DX10... once when I changed a video setting while playing, another time at a checkpoint.

Also my key code is not working for the added content, it says "could not verify account."

Also, I get 35-40fps when looking at lights and such, but 60fps locked otherwise, which is annoying. Turned down all the settings to low and STILL got the same framerate.

They were getting hammered earlier I couldn't even login to EA Store for awhile today.

Did you disable HBAO?

Getting very good reviews... I wonder if this will supplant MW:2 as the best war MP..

They are really two completely different games. COD MW2 is more close quarters. The fastest guy to the draw will win. Its about your reflexes. Snipers will get a few kills then will be located rather quickly. You can sprint through the map almost non stop racking up kills.

BF BC2 on the other hand is gunfights from across the battlefield alot of the time. You have to watch out for tanks, choppers and other vehicles and actually take cover. You have to be cautious of snipers as you run across open areas. Its not the up close, quick draw that MW2 is. With more room and the open battlefields the team aspect comes into play alot more. I see more people in pairs or multiple and you have the time to attack with a plan. When I'm trying to get back into battle and run into 2-3 guys together, I'm pretty much dead. I might take one of them with me, but 3 vs 1 is no contest.

IMO they aren't even alike. I still love MW2, but BF BC2 is a completely different MP experience. Will it replace MW2? No, not at all.

Actually I realized it wanted my serial again... I put it in for the install, so I thought it wanted my content code. Got it all sorted out.

And I thought I disabled it, but if it is a resource hog I didn't notice. I will try again.

Played some more singleplayer... amazing how it can look STUNNING one momeny, then honestly quite bad the next. The opening level forrest to subway hangar being an example.

I found the snow levels to really be blown out with bloom. The jungle looks amazing, I mean Crysis quality @ 85+ fps just blew me away. The MP maps just dont have the detail, they are huge and open with dust blowing around making it hard to see very far.
