This is bull****,no one plays crysis at that res/detail-level with a single gpu card.I'd much rather see benches of 1680x1050 or 1900x1200 where they dont run out of steam due to lack of enough ram.

Why post benchmarks at those setting when clearly it's unplayable on both? I'm beginning to think that nvidia are just trying to hype a failure of a card. :/

Like said above me, these settings are unplayable for both cards. So any gain doesn't really mean much. It could mean well for Nvidia that their minimum frame rates are really good in games.


Anyway, at these settings, with current GPU's 'SLI or Crossfire is required anyhow.

But it's 12.5% slower on 'max' FPS and about the same on average FPS. But as has been said, it's a pointless test.

One more benchmark at ultra-extreme settings that shows 5870 runs out of onboard memory!!Great!

not only that, I've seen in another thread were they ran @ different settings, and then changed the screenshot to look the same....this is all useless BS...

im sure it wont be long now til we see some proper benchies of the 480 but if you ask me nvidia better have a ace it up its sleeve or they are in in big trouble, personally id love to see the 480 do really well.
