Well I understand why they are releasing games for a few years back on the Mac and that's because the graphics cards on most of the Macs are stuck with technology that is a few years old (GeForce 9400)...

If you want to shell out a crazy amount of cash I guess you can get a Pro model with either a 9600 or GT120 but still way behind the times...

I much prefer my notebook that cost half the price of a Mac and I get a GTX260m with 6GB of RAM!!

You can get a Pro with a 4870, or an iMac with a 4850. With the Pro, you can get a GTX285, too.

I guess things could change as soon as the number of games (and the demand) available increases, or, better, as soon as more software houses show some interest in making/porting games to the platform...
