Long game. Still not done. 9 different people I have to track down and kill in this one mission
I'm on now.

Yay, I'm done.

Phenomenal ride of a game. Ranks up there in my top 5 games now and so far easily is my favorite game this year. Looking at PC games release list, it may stay the winner this year too.

Has such a great atmosphere and setting. Graphics are plenty pretty. Controls and double kills were sweet. Missions with story that was never uninteresting.

Really looking forward to the 3rd installment. Ending gives them lots of freedom of ideas to work with.

How long was your play through time?
34hrs but I'd guess 6 or more are doing side missions and junk.

The technical part of this game could use improving (texture and shadow lod, mouse control, DRM) but the gameplay is truly fantastic.

Whats everyone's take on this? SPOILERS AHEAD
So the earth had a generation of people that lived on earth long long before our current recorded history.
They were super advanced and had powerful Eden items which controlled people.
They had a civil war.
They all died but a few people, Adam and Eve in video being 2 of them.
Then what?

Edit: Umm, why isn't the button working?
Edit2: NM. spoiler1 seems to have text length limits.

i am nearly finished (sadly)

but i didnt collect all the codex's so have to go to all the cities and get them.

so whats everyone's preferred weapon? mine is the poison. satifyingly sick to use watching the victim flail about confused then die painfully.

i absolutely adore the soundtrack to the game too. I bought it on Amazon. Jesper Kyd's AC2 soundtrack rivals any hollywood soundtrack, one of the best i have heard in a long time.

cannot wait for AC3 etc i really hope Ubisoft continue to release it for PC

ill miss playing it

any word on when (if at all) this will be out on steam? I've got a lot of games in line before this one and just curious if it's planned to hit steam any time soon or not?

Both my brothers are huge AC fans and have it on the 360. I'm tempted to just borrow one of their disks but I don't want the experience to be tainted lol!

(Though I really don't consider a 52" plasma and big ass home theater to be suffering)

I couldn't really get into the first game.. .I may go back and give it another shot but the fact that I didn't fall in love with the first one makes me hesitant to pay for the 2nd one as well and then risk not liking it too

What ya talkin' bout, Wilson? It's out on Steam now.

AC1 I also tried to like but it got repetitive very fast. AC2 is nothing like that. AC2 is dramatically better than AC1 by about 10x.

Are you not really in AL? Because it is not on Steam in some other countries, as per usual with Ubi.
