IMHO, I think we should make the server private. If not, we are going to be over ran by newbs....

I was thinking about this. But I think if we strive to make the server just NVNews guys we will find that the server is never full. People here are on at different times throughout the day. Sure, when you look at this thread you think that the server would be full 24/7. But people are from all over and play at different times. If we put a password on the server, it will max out at like 10 people over the course of the day.

I think we should leave it public for the time being. If we find in a month or two that we have enough people here to populate it all the time, then we will put a password and post it here.

Hey also @ DD and you guys who are admins on the nvnews server you should set up pbbans so you can stream as well. We got our first pb ban Monday, and it was the 17th globally so any server that is streaming that person will be banned on as well. There are several commercial multi hacks out already as well.

This is what I was concerned with. I don't want some script kiddie coming in on our server wrecking the joy of the players that are on that server.

It's still reserved. Even when the server is up and running, your slots will be reserved. It will be so reserved, that you can't use them at all.
