Thanks, I thought so, it does hit my system pretty hard when enabled though.
Currently at "Frontline" and I just can't get enough of this game. Not one single glitch so far and the action coupled with the "I really don't want to go there because something will eat me" factor is very good. ![]() |

Okay tx NVnews....I'm very glad I sprung for this game after all.
Metro 2033 is so damn moody and gritty, the atmosphere just grabs ya. Performance is decent on my system, not the best by any means but smooth enough that it doesn't annoy me, there is no noticeable drop during battles which is a huge plus. This will only get better with new drivers and a patch or two.... I'm running at: 1920x1200, DX11, High, 4xAF

Anyone having trouble loading previous save points?
I got pinned in a firefight and it's one of those that, after I die, it reloads about 2 seconds before I died, ergo i simply die again real quick like... ![]() Problem is when I tried to reload the previous save, it wouldn't let me, just hung there. After about 15 very frustrating attempts I managed to get out of the enemies line of sight for a minute to regroup. Not a show stopper by any means, but very frustrating. It was at the start of the "Kahn" level. |

I played a long underground level last night and it played great.
Just the above ground stuff is 20-30fps on high settings, unplayable for me personally. Even on low it never really stays 100% above 30fps, which is just insane comparing my system to the min. requirements. Blarg.

this game was US$80 before release in Australia. The moment it unlocked the price came down to $50. crazy.
