I would not say it was a masterpiece, but it was definitely an amazing game. Then Double Agent came out and I cried for days. Worst game ever (basically).

some people can be hypocritical sometimes by judging something that isn't out. i enjoy ubi games, just as much as other publishers' games like activision. just because i don't agree with what they're doing doesn't mean all of their games automatically sucks. the main reason i still am interested because of the developers, not publishers.

so, if they ever port it to pc, you better support it if you want pc gaming to grow. with drm or not. most of time, it's better than nothing.
Hey, I am not saying I am not interested in the game. When they first announced it I didn't give a crap about it, but I use to LOVE the SC series (not as much as MGS but don't get me started on that debate)... but Double Agent was SO freaking horrible and a buggy mess for PC that I literally HAVE to play a demo (FOR THE PC) before I will buy it before it goes in a sales bin. After the atrocity they shipped last time out I cannot be asked to blindly buy the game like I did with DA... can't do it, WON'T do it.

I think most people are just pissed we aren't getting the demo. I don't know what's wrong with being disappointed about being treated as a second class platform, even if there are real reasons for it.

Consumers don't care about reasons, usually.

I liked it. Nowhere near as good as Chaos Theory, but it had some nice ideas and the stealth levels in the HQ were neat if you ask me. I played through the game three times, so I must have liked it.

Rubbish PC port though, one of the few games better on console.

I wouldn't judge the PC port of Conviction on Double Agent though, entirely different development teams.

This walkthrough video proves two things: http://www.gametrailers.com/video/wa...ter-cell/63413

1) The mark and execute is as much a lame auto-targeting system as I feared. The future of videogames is dead.

2) Gametrailers, like Giantbomb and I assume most other review sites, is filled with people who suck at games.

Hey Atleast Giantbomb doesn't try to hide that fact. They know they suck at games and are proud of it. Brad even has a time to death list!

Yeah, it's cute there, but I wonder about the ramifications on review scores and thus desired gameplay mechanics when all reviewers suck at games.

Because I'll have to wait two weeks to play it? Because it's an insult and treating me as a second-class consumer?

The amazon.com preorder coop bonuses are console only as well. Yay.

Wait, you were complaining about easy gameplay mechanics and you are still going to buy it? And you are a second class consumer...
