I played through the demo and only used it once or twice, I think it's a nice feature, but you don't have to use it. It's there just in case, and it works quite well.

Yah you don't have to use Mark and Execute, the problem is...in the demo the AI is conveniently positioned for that feature. This game was obviously designed for it.

Exactly... I addressed "you don't have to use it" in the OP, but people seem to have skipped past that part.

I don't remember ever defending it really... I might have said like Hunt just did "then don't use it" or something, but that video really shows the game is designed around it, which changes my mind.

Watching the video I saw 2 people strolling by sometimes. OH THE HORROR. You could still aim and execute them manually. Don't see what is so difficult about it.

Too many good game series are being ruined... Farcry2, Fear2, Conviction, Resident Evil 5, Mass Effect2. They all seem to have a common denominator of being made easier to play.

Some have gotten better.. GTA4, Assassin Creed 2, ummm, there must be more, right?

A ton of people insist GTA4 was a low point for the series, because it had less wacky stuff and more serious stuff.

I am not one of those people, for the record.
