Default Tv Out wont detect with GeForce 9500 on 195.36.15 Ubuntu Karmic

Since I bought this 9500 gt half a year ago, I haven't been able to get TV out working on any driver newer than 185.18.14.

The symptoms are, with any driver later than 185.18.14, if I add the "ConnectedMonitor" option in xorg.conf, I either get the "low graphics mode" warning, or X will start without a mouse cursor and frequently freezes.

Thanks for checking this and here's my bug report...

Hi Garthecho,

Silly question, but is your TV not detected by the driver if you don't set the "ConnectedMonitor" option? It should be auto-detected by the driver.

Hi and thanks for replying.

No, the TV isn't auto detected by any driver I've tried thus far. From what I could figure out, it seems I can only get the TV working by adding the "ConnectedMonitor" option to driver versions 185.18.14 or lower.

If it helps, my TV doesn't come up during BIOS boot either like my old system used to...
