Default How do I reformat Windows ME?

How do I reformat Windows ME? I can't find a way to get into dos mode. The booklet says to go to add/remove programs - then remove windows, but that option isnt there.

You need a DOS boot disk.

Goto "Start" button - goto "Settings"- goto "Control Panel" - goto "Add/Remove Programs" - click on "Boot Disk" tab.

At least, that's how ya do it in 98se. If you can't do it in ME just google "win98se boot-up disk" and you can download it off the net.

Where to boot from doesn't depend on your operating system, but on your BIOS setup.
