  • 1. Non-Limit OC (default voltage, the limit is about 750/1500/1100)

    2. Range detailed in the Table

Sadly I can't see the table because I'm not a member of the site.

GTX 470 for 359$ @ http://www.pcsuperstore.com/products...GTX470XPB.html

That's a good price imo, GTX 470 is gonna be a good buy for many

It's just my luck to have come down with the flu the day after I received the GeForce GTX 480, so I am pretty much behind in what other web sites will be offering. I was floored when I read that the Guru of 3D will have a 35-page review!

There were also a number of developments that occurred this week. Version 2.0 of the Unigine Heaven benchmark was released a few days ago and I discovered that BitSquid has released a beta of their new StoneGiant DX11 demo.

So I will be posting information from my "First Look" in a forum thread. I am also open to conduct any specialized testing that forum members may request.
Is it possible for you to look at BFBC2?

Thanks,

This alone made a huge difference in minimizing noise from the graphics card fan.
Undervolting?

/e: there's no info on heat dissipation with overclocking @test above though. The hotter the chip gets, the more power it needs, the hotter it gets, the more power it needs... uh.

Water cooling?

Mike, I don't know if you have two cards, but SLI scaling is pretty much the most important thing to me. Other than that I'd love to know how an OC'd GTX470 compares to a OC'd GTX480, and what is the limiting factor for the OC, ie, heat? power limits?

Really looking forward to the info!

I don't think any reviewer has two cards officially yet, there aren't many...

I would love to see GTA IV in action how about you guys? Most games are fully playable with 285 or 5870.

The extra memory should really help with GTA4.

As long as it is no slower I'll be happy. SLI'd 260 and the 295 are pretty much exactly the same performance. I'd be let down if a single 480 wasn't an upgrade from these cards. It's looking like they're godda OC very nicely with the right cooling, though, which is awesome!
