I was at BB today...got to see the V20, awesome TV with black levels close if not the same as the Kuros.

I'll be getting the VT25 as I don't like the silver bezel on the V20 that's exclusive to BB.

Oh yeah...the 3Ds bad a$$ too overall the best set in the Magnolia room.

I don't wear normal glasses, but I was sure it says in the Nvidia readme that they fit over the top of your normal ones.

My friend has a set up. He seems to like it, I don't. Played far cry 2 and batman on it, makes me feel sick/headachey.

Farcry 2 does the same for me playing in 2D. I'm not a fan of that game at all.

ATI supports 3D too! You just have to pay 49$ for it. Would love it if someone did a review, but I've seen none so far.

Yup, they do

I was impressed with the nV 3D specs. Very compact and light.

More cooling test results!

Quote:
This will be my final cooling test on the GeForce 480 GTX. Data was collected by GPU-Z with FurMark's stability test running in a window, at the resolution of 1920x1200 with 8x antialiasing, during the test cycle.

Starting with the area marked in red and titled HEATUP CYCLE, GPU fan speed was set to automatic. As the test begins, FurMark keeps the GPU loaded at 99% and temperature increases quickly. At idle, GPU temperature was 52 C. In two minutes, the temperature reached 96 C with the fan speed at 85%.

Quote:
The second and third part of the test is labeled COOL DOWN CYCLES. In the second test, with the side of the case opened, a 120mm fan, running at 1750 RPM, was positioned directly at the exposed heat pipes. In one minute, GPU temperature and fan speed decreased to 92 C and 83% respectively. At the 7.8 minute mark, GPU temperature had dropped to 86 C with the fan speed at 71%.

The third and final part of the test consisted of manually setting the GPU fan speed while continuing to use the 120mm fan. At the 11 minute mark, the fan speed was increased from 71% to 81% and GPU temperature dropped to 81 C. Fan speed was increased to 91% shortly after the 11 minute mark and the final GPU temperature wound up at 75 C.

Thanks for the offer, but I'm good with the results. I hope to build a watercooled system at some point though.

Legit Reviews got our hands on the latest video card BIOS revision for the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480 reference graphics card! We were told is the version that will be used on the GeForce GTX 480 graphics cards when they come out in just a couple weeks as it should fix the high temperature issue that we saw in our review last week!
