Well, this thread will serve good as an initial impressions repository, but I'm sure it'll make sense to put single card and SLI benchmark and game performance numbers in their own threads so people don't have to muddle through "I'm still waiting for Newegg to ship!!!111" posts to find the info they're looking for.

Newegg is receiving tiny quantities every now and then and they are selling like hotcakes , hard to get one

As soon as few are up they go out of stock the next minute lol.

Yep Newegg are getting them in and going straight out, so use the auto notification tool and have the website on favorite and keep checking. Saw some Evga 480's and 470's for sale and after 10 minutes gone.

Neweggs auto notification sucks....use this and have the tab with the cards you want open, I had my page loading every 5 sec from 5am this morning.

Yes but haveing to run your fan at nearly 100% to keep it under 90c ,just sounds loud to me.I guess if the noise don't bother you then they are good cards .That would just get on my nerves,that one reason I got rid of my three GTX 280 and I just had to keep the fans at 75% to keep the cards around 70% but I did have 4 120mm 110cmf blowing on them,but I could still hear the GTX 280 fans over all the case fans I had in my HAF 932.

I think UPS is taking my 470 on a scenic tour of Cali, still shows to be in LA by the tracking page, but says on shedule for delivery on the 12th. I hope it`s in OKC and UPS just hasn`t updated the tracking info. I`m really looking foreward to playing with it although it may get delayed somewhat since I also just bought a QX9770 on ebay.
