I have 2 240gb Vertex 2s. They are ah-some. Having them made my e-finger twice as long.

I would like to join Have a Crucial C300 128 GB. My WEI was showing 7.4 until I changed bios to AHCI mode for all. I had it set to AHCI for SATA3 which is where I have this drive plugged into. Last night I set SATA2 to AHCI and reran WEI and now it's 7.9 !! I must say I never thought my new system scores would be brought down by my processor! 7.7 Crazy!

I've been experiencing some games freezing for a while and sound skipping. Turns out it's quite common on SSD drives. I installed Intel drivers and the rapid storage and the problem has gone.

Space conserving tip for SSD users:

http://lifehacker.com/5467758/move-t...y-in-windows-7

I moved it to my second SSD (slower than my vertex 3 but faster than my caviar black)

I'm really wanting to pick up a couple larger SSDs. I'd love like a 256GB or 320GB dedicated for my Steam drive. I've over 200GBs worth of games. I know an SSD won't really help FPS but in titles such as Oblivion with really large worlds it does help with the streaming of data. I was thinking of just getting like new high-performance HDD but with how high prices are...

I dunno. Maybe I should just go with one of Seagate's 500GB hybrid drives. I think I can still pick one up for about $130 @ work with my discount. That might be the way to go.

can you not use junction point for users directory?

Are any back-up programs able to follow junction points? if not I guess that's why its not a good idea to use them.

I've finally run out of new golf equipment to purchase (until next year anyways) and they had 60GB Vertex 3's for $70 at the egg the other day... so I picked up 3 of them
