You can if you want, but it will just waste write cycles and have 0 benefits.

On the bright side: this is the perfect excuse to get an Intel 520 for your SATA 3 board
Yes was working fine this morning. I shut down the PC as I was going out for a few hours, came back and went to boot it up and no OS drive.

I agree on the Intel Drive. I should be able to do an RMA swap for a 120Gb 520 and buy another for some Raid loving.

I'd probably have gotten the 240GB model. SSDs are plenty fast by now, RAID 0 is not really needed anymore. Plus TRIM and no RAID risks involved.
Was going to Mirror them after the loss of the OCZ.

Just bought this for a new build I'm putting together for my folks. They don't need the best of the best, and it'll be leaps and bounds better than the 320GB HDD they've been using.

I'll report how well it works once I get it all together. They'll be using a Core2 Duo E6600, Intel "BadAxe" mobo, 8GB of RAM, that SSD, and a GeForce 8400GS. I'm contemplating OC'ing that E6600 but I'm not really sure if I'll need to. They don't use the computer for much so the E6600 will likely be over kill as is.
