My favorite bit is where the soldier sees the aliens in slow motion, the narrowing of his eyes was spot on. So... why didn't you like it again? |

Looks good for a trailer, let's hope it's like TheANIMAL says, if it has a story and it's bit of a cinematic experience, I would be up for it.

I felt it was supremely cheesy. The music was sleepy to me. They focus on the soldier the entire time and then when he dies, the nanosuit dude is just looking away like it's no big deal... and in these games that tends to be the case. I think they tried to focus on a minor character dying to make it sentimental or something and it just didn't work.
It came off as a failed attempt to copy that gears of war trailer that a bunch of people talked about. But the difference is that the GOW trailer led up to some huge monster at the end that made you go "Oh ****, that looks intense." The burly nanosuit dude tenderly letting go of a piece of paper seemed like a lame attempt at proving "Hey, games can be dramatic too!"

You're looking too much into it. The nanosuit guy doesn't know any of this is going on until he heard the explosion. He's looking at a missing person poster feeling emotion until he hears the explosion. Then he clenches his fist like he's going to get revenge on some alien scum. I thought that was pretty obvious...

Great trailer. I'm not sure what's wrong with some of you folks. The music is perfect, it sets the mood. It really wets my appetite. Can't wait to see more.

I wonder why they aren't seriously working on porting original crysis and warhead to console with the new engine? I would think they could sell many millions on console just with the ip they already have.
