Admin has banned my email address?

I've noticed the past two days that my password is not being accepted by the NVNews servers. It's a 12 character password that is saved in Firefox and still doesn't work when I manually type it in.

When I try to go in and change my password, it tells me that my email address is banned. WTF? Am I banned for something or is the server jacked up? Gonna email Mike too.

I finally tried again and it worked using my saved Firefox password. What's going on with the servers? Anything or am I going crazy?

Yea it's been doing it to a few people. Happened to me when I was testing out Safari.

It's because of April Fools Day. The servers think they're funny. I say we show 'em who's boss and cut their RAM by half.

Wait...bad idea.

I normally tell folks that have this problem to clear out their temporary internet files and cookies.

Yea, but Six_storm is far from normal.

It may also be due to a setting that prevents a member from changing their email address to an address that is on our internal banned list. It's a good feature when signing up for a new account since it helps to blocks spam bots from signing up.

But I should remove that setting for existing accounts.

Every time it happens to me clearing cookies and temp files fixes it.
