Is it possible to block someone on a quest account from changing the wallpaper and screensaver and other desktop settings without going through the whole process of setting up a domain and setting up user profiles and such?

To disable the ability go access the desktop, change these values in the registry:
Code:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer] "NoPropertiesMyComputer"=dword:00000001 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\Explorer] "NoViewContextMenu"=dword: 00000001 ...and theres this too... http://www.astahost.com/info.php/Dis...nel_t6314.html |
