It allows you to capture clips from your game and then you can edit them in the internal video editor

It's nothing to do with clip capture. It's just a workaround for the performance bug which occurs when near the water.

Yes, well, if turning it off causes it, I would say that is a clip capture error. What term would you prefer?

It's an odd issue since it's got nothing to do with Clip Capture itself, according to Rockstar.

Just to be clear. You only need to enable Clip Capture if you suffer from the slow down bug, so other than that, you just use it as it's primary function(which is to capture in-game video).

There is also a new GFWL client available, came up in Windows updates a few days ago. version 3.3. I wish they remove the installation limits on GFWL games especially when we have DRM to deal with too.

Version Information: 3.3.0024.00 (client) / 3.2.0003.0 (in-game)

Release Date: 5/26/2010

Minor visual tweaks

Fixes and Improvements

lol indeed, maybe MS really is restructuring and instead of having the janitor work on the GFW Live client they have had a few programmers take a look.

Hey guys,

I'm noticing some strange behavior, I see white pixcels dancing around in the horizon whenever i fly over water in the helicopter. I'm using a radeon 5750, their pretty small, but I know sometimes these things could indicate graphics card problems. It's been fine in benchmarks though.

The 5000 series is known to have little specks of graphical corruption if you do not limit the DVI signal or whatever it's called in the CCC. You probably would have noticed before now though.
