Default App to remove garbage?

My PC has become so very slow recently. I think I know why, I'm installing games left and right, and playing till like level 3 and stopping, because its horrible. And my hard drive space is almost full. So I've had to uninstall games, but ever since a week ago, my PC is soooo slow. What's a good app or something that will speed it up? I don't want to reinstall.

Good stuff but no where enough to fend off the garbage.

I use A-Square and Malwarebytes antivim.

I seriously doubt it's viruses, because I use that too, and I'll have to google A-Square.

Thanks for the suggestions, looking at them now.

Auslogics is a pretty good defragger, yeah. CCleaner is a registry cleaner. I only used it once on an old system and it didn't seem to change much.

A good defrag will probably give the best result.

It's defragging now. It says I have 506 junk files, I don't understand what that means? How do I remove them, it suggestes the Auslogics BoostSpeed, but that reminds me of finallyfast.com Is it safe, the boostspeed app from them?
Also, 10 registry errors, and it suggests boostspeed.

I would suggest running CCleaner before defragging. No point in defragging garbage files. Also, untick the option to not delete files unless they are 48 hours old.

Dont bother with the Registry errors, all programs will detect "problems" with the registry. Its more likely running the "fix" will make things worse.

Also, check your startup entries... I recommend Startup CPL.

Well, I defragged last night when I went to sleep, I let it run over night for like an hour or so. And today, I got CCleaner, and deleted/optimized my PC. And when I open the defrag app, it says no need to defrag, and the junk files disappeared to 0. Cool. The CCleaner app says I have like 50 registry errors? But I'll let those be.

Do you think I should still defrag again? The app says no need to.

Thanks for the help by the way. My computer started up a lot faster, and applications start faster as well now. It's like when I first installed Win 7.

Don't worry about those. They don't affect performance or compatibility in any way.

Yes, because all those junk files you deleted left gaps open all over the partition, just waiting to be filled up with more junk files. Run CCleaner again (be sure to uncheck the 48 hour temp file thing), then immediately defrag. This will consolidate those empty spaces, forcing the temp and junk files outside of your system files and such.
