I HATE office xp. The dumb out of office notification is enough reason to annoy me.

edit, other phones(iphone) that use outlook sync will also not work
IMO drop outlook and use gmail/google calendar with an android phone instead. Nothing ever breaks that pair and syncing is so easy you never even need to actually do anything to make it sync No drivers, no pc connection, hell you don't even need to so much as lift a finger. It just syncs.

All I ever use office for now is word, excel, and powerpoint, as those still beat google by a mile. That said, I am wondering what they are going to price the home and student version at (though atm I have no reason to upgrade.)

Qft. Outlook has always been a piece if crap.

I'm also curious in pricing. Maybe Microsoft will do something normal.

1) don't have android phone

2) i like outlook

3) not going to use gmail as my main mailbox, i have about 7 seperate box boxes for different use.

and outlook is not a piece of crap, failbear. if you want crap go use Lotus Notes.

It's pretty powerful in a corporate environment. I've always found Outlook and Exchange a breeze to work with.

I couldn't manage teams guys in India, Sydney and on my own site without it.

Not up on Technet yet. ::

Full versions are LIVE!!!

Instructions and Resources
Important: Microsoft strongly recommends the use of 32-bit (x86) versions of Office 2010, Project 2010, and Visio 2010 applications as the default option for all platforms.

Learn more about the deployment considerations for x64 and x86 at http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/l...ffice.14).aspx.
